5 Michigan Companies that use .NET

At Grand Circus, we know that people want to know where they’ll be able to use their skills once the bootcamp is over. One of the awesome things about learning .NET at Grand Circus is that there are lots of local companies that use this framework every day right in our own neighborhood. Here’s a brief sample of a few companies that use .NET where bootcamp graduates could possibly work.

Rocket Mortgage

Located just down the road from Grand Circus, Rocket Mortgage is an online mortgage lender that employs hundreds of developers. Rocket Mortgage was recently listed as one of the top 5 places to work in America by Forbes. The company has a large development team, so there are tons of seasoned developers to learn from as bootcamp graduates grow in their careers. Dozens of Grand Circus alumni currently work for Rocket Mortgage in a variety of positions—everything from interns to software developers!

With its main office located in downtown Detroit, Rocket Mortgage also has an office in Cleveland and other locations around the country. Most of our alumni have gotten jobs as Developer Interns and daytime developers, but, some students have taken on program management or business analyst positions.

Even though Rocket Mortgage is a .NET Shop, they’ve hired Java and Front-End students. The more languages you know, the better!

TitleSource

TitleSource is an exciting place for developers to work in downtown Detroit, but it has other locations too. Grand Circus alumni from our first .NET cohort have been working at TitleSource in downtown Detroit and absolutely love their experience! As part of Rocket Mortgage Family of Companies, TitleSource employees are entitled to many of the same awesome benefits as Rocket Mortgage team members.

FatHead

Fathead is a company known for making, well, fatheads – essentially big, awesome looking signs. They busines is located in downtown Detroit in the heart of the growing community. (Check out this great piece the New York Times wrote featuring this great company!)

Fathead uses .NET and has been voted by Detroit Free Press as one of the best places to work in 2015. Fathead is located in downtown Detroit and is also part of Rocket Mortgage Family of Companiesentitling its workers to many of the same great benefits of Rocket Mortgage team members, but at a much smaller-sized company.

Aimia

Aimia is a data-driven marketing and loyalty analytics company based in Troy, Michigan. For those looking to relocate though, it also has offices around the country and around the world. The company prides itself on offering employees a culture that is interesting and that challenges people to keep learning. We love Aimia because the staff truly value diversity and inclusion at all levels of their company.

These are just five of the many companies in Michigan using .NET

Streamline HealthCare Solutions

Located in Kalamazoo, this company offers high-quality software solutions for the healthcare industry. The company’s mission is to empower employees who then help those that are in need. Streamline Healthcare Solutions also has offices in Illinois and overseas. Streamline has built and maintains systems for some of the nation’s premier behavioral health organizations using the latest web technology. Its client base spans across several organizations and 14 states.

The company has developed software to integrate all inpatient, outpatient, and community-based departments moving to a more holistic service approach. A great, cutting-edge company to work for!

Domino’s

Domino’s in Ann Arbor works with .NET and has been voted one of Metro Detroit’s Best and Brightest places to work for 11 years in a row. The pizza biz has also gotten a ton of love for the innovation in the pizza/tech sector (how awesome is that?). One of the company’s biggest goals is to invest in their own technology and improve their customer’s experience.

When students enter a Grand Circus bootcamp, we work hard to make sure that they feel supported in their job search. During the bootcamp, our hiring partners are invited into the classroom to talk about their company’s culture, what they’re hiring for and what they look for in a developer. This is a great opportunity to meet and greet with your potential future employer! We also invite dozens of employers to our Demo Days to see bootcampers’ final projects. Many of our bootcampers meet their future employers at our demo days.
