Our six-session course on JavaScript is built for individuals who already have an intermediate understanding of HTML & CSS. If you’ve independently learned HTML & CSS skills or have taken an HTML & CSS workshop, this course is calling your name! You’ll learn the basics of JavaScript to make your website interactive and exciting.

Significant coursework will take place outside of the classroom, and the ability to commit to project and study time outside of the classroom is required. You will need to bring your own laptop.

Featured Instructor: Ivan Herndon

Ivan was born and raised in Detroit. He's a graduate Detroit Labs' Javascript Apprenticeship. He currently works as a JavaScript Developer for Bitovi and previously held the position of Application Developer at General Motors and Detroit Labs. When he isn't coding, or teaching others Ivan is spending time with his family.

Refund for Cancellation: An applicant requesting cancellation within three (3) business days after making an initial payment, but prior to seminar or workshop start date, is entitled to a refund of all tuition and fees paid with the exception of the non-refundable deposit (if applicable).

Prerequisites: You’ll need to have a solid understanding of HTML and CSS – or have completed Intro to Front-End Development: HTML & CSS!
